Dr. Min is a magna cum laude graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas. She earned her M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was heavily involved with promoting diversity. She was the founder and president of the Johns Hopkins chapter of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association and assisted in organizing and hosting its national conference at Hopkins. Dr. Min went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She performed her residency in Radiation Oncology at New York University School of Medicine, where she was named Chief Resident. She was an active member of the resident leadership committee of the New York Roentgen Society.
Dr. Min practiced in Atlanta, Georgia for 8 years where she was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, prior to relocating to Virginia. She has been recognized for her technical skills in gynecologic brachytherapy and was awarded the 2013 HDR Brachytherapy Scholarship Award by the American Brachytherapy Society. She has a particular interest in breast and gynecologic cancers, as well as women’s health. In her leisure time, Dr. Min enjoys spending time with her husband and twin girls, music, eating, and swimming.
