Dr. Kataria is a Washington D.C. area native who, after graduating with Honors at Georgetown University, went on to earn his M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine. After his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York, he returned to Washington D.C. to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology at Georgetown University Hospital, where he had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kataria is passionate about clinical research and has published on topics including breast cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. He has presented his research at both national and international conferences including The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), The American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and The European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). He is committed to using modern techniques with the latest technologies to compassionately deliver high quality care for his patients.
Dr. Kataria lives in Northern Virginia and enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and two children.
